Director Kim Chul-kyu and actress Park Min-young have praised Kim Jung-hyun's acting skills in the upcoming drama 'Siren'.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, the production presentation for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren' was held online. The event was attended by MC Park Kyung-lim, director Kim Chul-kyu, and actors Park Min-young, Wi Ha-jun, and Kim Jung-hyun. 'Siren' is a drama that depicts a fatal romance thriller involving an irresistibly charming insurance fraud suspect and a man who delves into the deadly truth surrounding her.

Park Min-young plays the role of Han Seol-ah, the chief auctioneer at Royal Auction. Known for her fashion and beauty in every project, Park Min-young revealed that she put a lot of effort into styling for this role as well. She explained, "I met with auctioneers for research, and they had distinct characteristics. I watched a lot of related videos. During auctions, they often use bold materials like silk and vivid colors. They also frequently use colored gemstones in accessories. This time, I actively used colors for the first time."

She continued, "It was a style I hadn't tried before. When I used bold styles, I used them confidently," adding, "In contrast, in Seol-ah's personal space or comfortable settings, I had to show her inner self, so I kept it as monochrome as possible." She further mentioned, "Unlike the usual office look, there are avant-garde elements," urging viewers to look forward to it.

Regarding the points of interest, Park Min-young said, "Our drama uses a camera lens that is being tried for the first time in Korea. The mise-en-scène is more vivid and unique. The keyword I feel for this work is 'fatal beauty.' Once you watch it, you'll be captivated," she expressed confidently.

Kim Jung-hyun, who plays the mysterious emerging tycoon Baek Jun-beom, said, "Director Kim Chul-kyu put a lot of effort into this work," adding, "Park Min-young's femme fatale charm, Wi Ha-jun's straightforward charm, and my own mystery are present." Hearing this, Park Min-young praised, "He speaks humbly, but he's truly a scene-stealer. When Kim Jung-hyun appears, the atmosphere changes. Just his presence alters the mood."
