The 610th episode of KBS2's 'The Return of Superman', aired on the 25th, was themed 'Better Together'. Hosts Kim Jong-min and Lalal joined fathers and their children in spreading warmth through acts of sharing as winter came to a close. The Woo brothers, Eun-woo and Jung-woo, participated in volunteer activities with their father, Junho, while the Joo siblings, Ji-woo and Si-woo, served warm meals to village elders with their father, Dong-min.
Jang Dong-min celebrated Si-woo's second birthday with a village feast. Reflecting the saying that it takes a village to raise a child, this meal was a gesture of gratitude to the elders who have cared for Ji-woo and Si-woo. The siblings helped their father season a 100kg pig with their tiny hands.
Two-year-old Si-woo, now a charming chatterbox, mimicked his sister by saying "Birthday party?" and expressed his desires to his father with "One, two, go!" Ji-woo, showing her sisterly love, told Si-woo, "Since it's your birthday, I'll let you have everything." When Si-woo mentioned "dinosaur," Ji-woo promised to buy him one, looking at their father, which was endearing. Si-woo responded with "The best!" bringing smiles to viewers.
The Ho family, Kim Jun-ho, Eun-woo, and Jung-woo, moved hearts with their special act of giving. Kim Jun-ho, wishing for his sons to give back as much as they have received, donated 1,200 briquettes and 220 bags of 5kg rice. Eun-woo and Jung-woo actively participated in delivering the briquettes with their father.
Volunteers were touched by Eun-woo's earnest efforts in delivering briquettes with his tiny hands. Kim Jun-ho explained the significance of sharing, saying, "The briquettes Eun-woo delivered will keep a grandmother warm this winter," making Eun-woo proud. Jung-woo kept company with a grandmother, distributed hot packs and snacks to volunteers, displaying his lovable nature. They concluded their day with a meal of sundae soup.
Watching Eun-woo and Jung-woo, MC Kim Jong-min hinted at his own desire for children. He expressed envy towards Kim Jun-ho, saying, "Having sons as sundae soup mates is wonderful. I'm so envious." Lalal chimed in, "Maybe after a bath together someday," supporting Kim Jong-min's sentiment.
The episode also featured Lee Jong-beom training his grandson, Go Tae-hyun, to assess his baseball talent. Wearing a special uniform gifted by his uncle Jung-hoo, Tae-hyun impressed his grandfather by sprinting and sliding accurately onto bases, showcasing his inherited speed. Lee Jong-beom beamed, "Tae-hyun has excellent lower body balance and coordination. Sports scouts should take note."
