Park Ji-hoon touched hearts as he remembered his late grandmother.
On the October 25th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' Park Ji-hoon, star of the movie 'The Man Living in the King,' made a special appearance.
Park Ji-hoon revealed that he recently lost his grandmother. Host Yoo Jae-suk cautiously mentioned, "I heard you filmed this movie thinking of your grandmother, and she passed away the day after the premiere."
Park Ji-hoon shared, "My grandmother had dementia and couldn't remember me," adding, "I want to ask her something. If she appears in my dreams, there's something I really want to ask." His words left a poignant impression.
'The Man Living in the King' tells the story of King Danjong, who was dethroned and exiled to Yeongwol after the Gyeyujeongnan, and the village chief of his place of exile. The film explores the hidden story of Joseon's 6th king, Danjong. The movie stars Yoo Hae-jin and Park Ji-hoon, with Park Ji-hoon receiving praise for his portrayal of the tragic king Danjong.
