Actress Lee Min-jung recently opened up about her feelings of guilt for not being able to give enough attention to her first son after the birth of her second child.
On October 24, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' featured a video titled 'First Look at Lee Min-jung's Son's Room (+Remodeling Day) with Jun-hoo's Permission.'
The video showcased the process of Lee Min-jung remodeling her son Jun-hoo's room. Before filming, she mentioned that she had obtained her son's permission, stating, "This might be the last look at the current setup," as she embarked on the remodeling project.
Lee Min-jung expressed her regret, saying, "I became pregnant with my second child three and a half years ago, and for the past four years, I haven't been able to pay enough attention to Jun-hoo." She also shared, "The baby was very young, and I hadn't fully recovered physically, so I couldn't manage a major reorganization." During this time, Jun-hoo had grown significantly, but his room still contained furniture from his early elementary school years, making the space cramped and uncomfortable for him.
Lee Min-jung apologized directly to her son, saying, "The chair is small, and the desk is old, but I kept postponing it, and it ended up like this. I'm really sorry." She added, "This time, I want to change it properly," and visited a mattress store to select a suitable product for her growing child.
After two weeks of organizing, the room was transformed into a more serene and modern space. The careful arrangement of furniture, lighting, and books reflected Lee Min-jung's thoughtful touch.
Lee Min-jung's heartfelt letter to her son, expressing gratitude for his bright demeanor despite the arrival of his sibling, was touching. She wrote, "Thank you for taking care of your younger sibling so cheerfully, even though you might have felt neglected." Lee Min-jung watched her son read the letter with a warm smile, and he playfully remarked, "Mom is crying," melting her heart.
Lee Min-jung married actor Lee Byung-hun in 2013, and they have a son and a daughter together.
