The K-pop group IVE (members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) has made a significant impact on the global music scene, achieving a 'Perfect All-Kill' on major domestic music charts and now making their mark on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest charts released by Billboard on February 28 (local time), IVE's pre-release double title track 'BANG BANG' from their second full-length album 'REVIVE+' has secured the 38th spot on the 'Billboard Global Excl. US' chart. Additionally, the track ranked 81st on the 'Billboard Global 200' chart and 7th on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, maintaining a strong presence for two consecutive weeks.
The song's performance on regional charts is also noteworthy. 'BANG BANG' reached 3rd on Billboard Korea's 'Hot 100', 5th on the 'Global K-pop Song' chart, and 21st on Billboard Japan's 'Hot 100'. It also entered the top ranks in three Asian regions, showcasing its global influence.
This global success is synergized with their immense popularity in South Korea. On February 24, 'BANG BANG' achieved a 'Perfect All-Kill' by topping real-time and daily charts, including Melon, Genie, Flo, Vibe, and Bugs, and continues to hold the top position as of 9 AM on the 25th. This marks the first such achievement for a song released in 2026 and is IVE's sixth overall 'Perfect All-Kill'.
'BANG BANG' delivers a powerful message of self-determination, accompanied by intense EDM sounds and intuitive performances, earning widespread acclaim. The challenge trend on short-form platforms like TikTok has further fueled its rise on domestic and international charts, underscoring IVE's formidable digital music power.
IVE plans to connect with fans worldwide through music shows and various content with their title track 'BLACKHOLE'.
