K-pop sensation TWICE has reaffirmed their popularity in North America through their dynamic world tour and recent television appearance.
On the 23rd (local time), TWICE made a captivating appearance on NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.' Having previously delivered impressive performances on the show in 2021 and 2023, the group returned after nearly three years to perform their hit 'Strategy.'
The members, styled in a hip fashion, captivated the audience with their powerful performance, emphasizing their 'hot girl' persona, heating up both online and offline platforms. Released in December 2024, 'Strategy' gained renewed attention as part of the original soundtrack for Netflix's popular animation 'KPop Demon Hunters.' The track maintained a 17-week streak on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. On the day of the show's airing, it achieved over 300 million streams on Spotify, showcasing the enthusiastic response from fans.
TWICE kicked off their sixth world tour, ',' in Vancouver this January, continuing their North American leg. The tour marked its success with concerts in Belmont Park on February 18, 20, and 21, featuring a 360-degree open stage with performances of their hit songs. Special stages included solo performances and the 'KPop Demon Hunters' original soundtrack 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG).'
The North American tour, which is gaining momentum, will continue through April in Austin, covering 35 shows across 20 locations. From March 20-22, TWICE will hold a solo concert in Taipei. In a historic move, they will perform at Tokyo's National Stadium on April 25, 26, and 28, becoming the first foreign artist to do so. The tour will extend to eight European locations in May and June, culminating in a record-breaking 78 solo concerts across 43 locations worldwide.
