SF9's Yoo Taeyang Concludes Successful Run in Musical 'Rent'
SF9 member Yoo Taeyang has successfully wrapped up his final performance in the musical 'Rent'.

On the 22nd, Yoo Taeyang concluded his three-month journey with the musical 'Rent' at the Coex Artium in Seoul.

The musical 'Rent' is a modern adaptation of Puccini's opera 'La Bohème', depicting the intense lives of artists living in New York's East Village during the 1990s. Since its premiere in South Korea in 2000, it has enjoyed immense popularity, marking its 10th season. Yoo Taeyang took on the role of Roger as a new cast member this season.

Roger is a character who yearns for dreams and love amidst despair. Yoo Taeyang received praise for his delicate acting and singing, embodying his own version of Roger. Many reviews described him as "Roger himself," showcasing a performance that perfectly captured the character, adding another 'life character' to his repertoire.

Through his agency, FNC Entertainment, Yoo Taeyang expressed, "Performing in 'Rent' felt like a dream. I was happy to meet Roger, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone who created this shining opportunity. It was an honor for me."

He continued, "I constantly questioned myself if I was ready to stand on stage until the last day of the performance and if I could do so without shame. There were satisfying days and some disappointing ones, but I did my best every moment. I hope it remains a good memory for those who came to watch."

Meanwhile, Yoo Taeyang is set to hold the 2026 SF9 YOO TAE YANG FANMEETING 'THE ROOM: Together' on the 28th, where he will spend precious time with fans before his military enlistment.
