Brian Returns to the Stage After 6 Years: Overcoming Stage Fright with Fly to the Sky Reunion

Brian has made his comeback as a singer after six years.

On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'The Brian' released a video titled 'I am Missing You. Overcoming Stage Fright and Returning as Fly to the Sky After 6 Years (Practice, Rehearsal, Backstage)'.

In the video, Brian announced his reunion performance with Hwanhee after six years. Although he wanted to sing, he had been away from the stage since 2019 due to vocal cord nodules. However, he returned to perform in front of fans during the Seoul concert on the 24th and 25th.

Initially, Brian was asked if he could just dance during 'Sea Of Love', but he suggested, "Instead of just dancing, how about performing a Fly to the Sky medley for two days, even though my throat isn't in the best condition?"

The day before the concert, Brian headed to the practice room. He candidly shared, "I'm worried about hitting the high notes or going flat."

Brian admitted, "It's natural to feel nervous on stage. I'm worried people might say, 'Why did he come on stage?' if I mess up." He added that this performance was more about supporting Hwanhee and wanting to share the stage with him, hoping the audience would enjoy it.

While explaining the setlist, Brian expressed his desire for a surprise entrance during the second verse, hoping for cheers, but also feared a lukewarm reaction.

Before the performance, Brian confessed, "If I'm going to be on stage, I want to do it perfectly. Not being able to give 100% makes me hesitant and reluctant."

During practice, Brian jokingly said, "What if Hwanhee and I decide to do a new song or a comeback? NO," eliciting laughter. Yet, he hoped for a successful performance, questioning if he was right to offer his help.

During rehearsal, Brian struggled with parts and stage directions. Hwanhee humorously remarked, "The parts are finding their rightful owner," but Brian remained focused, repeatedly monitoring through in-ear devices.

On the day of the performance, the YouTube crew presented Brian with a bouquet and a card that read, "Congratulations on your reunion after 6 years," bringing a satisfied smile to his face.

On stage, Brian and Hwanhee completed the Fly to the Sky medley after six years, receiving enthusiastic cheers from fans. They greeted the audience with the long-missed group introduction, "Hello, we are Fly to the Sky."

After the performance, Brian expressed slight disappointment, saying, "I missed two lines because of the smoke," but was pleased with his chemistry with Hwanhee, smiling as he spoke.
