Actor Kim Do-hoon has spoken out regarding the skinship controversy involving aespa member Karina.
Through the fan communication platform Bubble, Kim Do-hoon responded to a fan's message saying, "Don't touch Karina's hand," by clarifying, "I never touched her hand, but I did scratch my finger. It was itchy," on the 21st.
The controversy arose during the press conference for Netflix's new variety show 'Mystery Investigation Team 2' held on the 19th at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
During a group photo session, a video captured Kim Do-hoon seemingly fiddling with Karina's hand, sparking speculation about their relationship online. Some netizens suggested it was a misunderstanding due to the camera angle.
Previously, in September last year, Kim Do-hoon was embroiled in dating rumors with actress Kim Yoo-jung, his co-star in the TVING original 'Dear X.' Both Kim Do-hoon and Kim Yoo-jung's agencies denied the rumors, stating they were just colleagues.
Meanwhile, 'Mystery Investigation Team 2,' featuring Kim Do-hoon and Karina, is an adventure mystery program that investigates scientifically inexplicable cases and is set to premiere on the 27th.
