Comedian Park Myung-soo Hilariously Rejects Longtime Friend Cho Hye-ryeon's Affection
On the 10th, the YouTube channel 'Hal Myung-soo' released a video titled 'In my 50s but still want to date. A thrilling(?) date with my dear friend Ryeon.'
In the video, Park Myung-soo met with his well-known 'female friend' Cho Hye-ryeon for a date around Seongsu-dong and the Han River. From the start, Park Myung-soo showed a disinterested attitude, saying, "It's just my female friend Cho Hye-ryeon. I'm not looking forward to this date at all." Upon seeing Cho Hye-ryeon, he humorously remarked, "My female friend has aged too much," and drove past her, causing laughter.
Their conversation naturally shifted to updates on each other's lives and their relationship. Cho Hye-ryeon revealed she recently lost 8kg, saying, "I cut out flour, have raw food for breakfast, and eat tomatoes, apples, and bananas. It's been a hit online lately." Park Myung-soo joked, "You look younger rather than prettier. You look like a grandma, but then again, I look like a grandpa too."
Park Myung-soo inquired, "Did you get an offer to appear on tvN's 'Reply 1988'?" Cho Hye-ryeon confirmed, "I was offered the role of Hyeri's mom in 'Reply 1988,' but I couldn't do it because I was living in seclusion in China after my divorce." She added, "Still, I'm grateful to director Shin Won-ho for remembering me from 'Heroine 5' and 'Heroine 6.'"
However, he set clear boundaries. Park Myung-soo rejected Cho Hye-ryeon's light physical affection, saying, "Don't try to hold my hand. Don't link arms." He added, "If a friend is struggling, you can support them," when Cho Hye-ryon playfully insisted. Cho Hye-ryeon candidly answered a question about contacting male friends after midnight, saying, "It's a bit too late. My husband doesn't like it."
