Former Speed Skater Kim Bo-reum Opens Up About Career Struggles on 'Ask Anything'
Former national athlete Kim Bo-reum, who recently retired from speed skating, shared her career dilemmas on the latest episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything,' which aired on October 23 at 8:30 PM.

During the show, Kim reflected on the hardships she faced during the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, where she was misunderstood and criticized. She revealed, "The experience made me stronger, and now I feel prepared to overcome any future challenges."

Kim expressed her interest in pursuing various paths, including becoming a coach, broadcaster, or psychological counselor. Seo Jang-hoon offered heartfelt advice, suggesting that combining coaching with broadcasting and commentary would be the most practical and stable choice. Lee Soo-geun also praised Kim's dedication and encouraged her to move beyond her past and start a new chapter in life.

The episode also featured a guest who had previously appeared on another variety show, 'High School Mom and Dad,' and had a connection with Seo Jang-hoon. The guest shared a tragic story of two failed marriages and losing custody of her child. After her first marriage in 2018, she left her child with her parents and remarried, only to lose custody due to her second husband's frequent disappearances.

The guest admitted, "I chose him because he claimed to be worth 4 billion won," but Seo Jang-hoon pointed out, "Why would a billionaire take care of you?" The situation worsened when her parents submitted a statement during the custody trial, indicating she had no intention of raising her child.

Seo Jang-hoon did not hold back in criticizing the guest for her selfish decisions, which left her child neglected. He emphasized that her reliance on others led to the separation from her child and urged her to become a responsible adult.
