Han Ji-min is heightening anticipation by unveiling the core charm of her character, Lee Eui-young, in the upcoming JTBC drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles'.
Set to premiere on October 28 at 10:40 PM, 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' follows the story of a woman who decides to find love, goes on a blind date, and meets two men with different charms, leading her to discover the true meaning of love.
Han Ji-min will captivate viewers once again as Lee Eui-young. She expressed her attraction to the drama, saying, "I was drawn to the realistic stories and common concerns about love that people of marriageable age often face." Born in 1982, Han Ji-min is in a public relationship with Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon, who is ten years her junior, since 2024. This aspect likely resonated with her, given her own age.
Han Ji-min also expressed her affection for her character, stating, "The greatest charm of Lee Eui-young is her honesty." She added, "Whether at work, with friends, on a blind date, or facing love, Lee Eui-young never loses her honesty."
Lee Eui-young is a character who excels at work with the trust of her colleagues but experiences stagnation in her love life. Han Ji-min commented, "Lee Eui-young is an ordinary person that anyone might think of," adding, "I also thought of a few friends like her."
She continued, "The process of working hard and then suddenly contemplating marriage is a life flow that anyone might experience," and noted, "Lee Eui-young is not a particularly standout character but feels like a friend who could be by your side, making her even more appealing."
Moreover, Han Ji-min related to the relationship between Lee Eui-young and her mother, Park Jung-im (played by Kim Jung-young), in the drama. She shared, "I often travel with my mother and we are like friends," and expressed her desire to become even closer with her mother.
