Ha Ji-won Shines in New Character Stills for ENA Drama 'Climax'

ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Climax' has unveiled two new character stills of Ha Ji-won, one of South Korea's top actresses, who stands at the center of choices entangled with power and desire.

'Climax' is a drama that portrays the intense survival game of prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, played by Ju Ji-hoon, who dives into a cartel of power to reach the top position in South Korea. Ha Ji-won plays Choo Sang-ah, an actress who once reached the pinnacle of success but now stands at a crossroads of power and choice, showcasing both her relentless ambition and inner conflict.

In 'Climax', Choo Sang-ah is depicted as a former top star who enjoyed a glamorous time with her captivating aura and unparalleled presence. However, her position begins to waver due to a series of box office failures and the resurfacing of a murder case from 10 years ago. Choo Sang-ah must exhibit both cold judgment and resolute determination to reclaim her spot at the top amidst a massive cartel linking power, money, the entertainment industry, and politics.

The newly released character stills symbolically capture Choo Sang-ah's inner world and circumstances. The first still shows her on a phone call in front of a vanity mirror, with eyes attentively listening and an alluring expression that conveys both tension and resolve. The second still captures her looking at a monitor on set, with a serious face and focused eyes, indicating that she is not just a star but a figure with choices and strategies.

Choo Sang-ah is a character who must consider both survival and strategy at the center of power and desire. In a story where every moment is a series of decisions and outcomes, she stands in the midst of the most dangerous alliance created by ambition.

'Climax' premieres on March 16 at 10 PM on ENA.
