Husband Questions Wife's Spending as She Sends $8,000 Monthly to Her Family

A story about a wife who spends $8,000 a month on living expenses, mostly for her family, is gaining attention.

Recently, a video titled "[#Lee Ho-sun Counseling] No Pension, No Savings, but Giving $8,000 Monthly to Her Family!? Lee Ho-sun Explodes at the Reckless Wife" was uploaded on the tvN D ENT channel.

In the video, the husband reveals, "I give my wife $8,000 every month for living expenses," adding, "I also cover all fixed costs like insurance."

He continues, "My wife seems to overstep without consulting me. She spent $3,000 on a refrigerator for her family, covered the entire cost of her father's 70th birthday party, and sent $5,500 for her father's dental implants," expressing his curiosity about the whereabouts of the $8,000.

On the other hand, the wife explains, "I bought the refrigerator with lottery winnings," but the husband counters, "While that's true, she didn't consult me and told her mother, 'I won the lottery, so I'll buy you a refrigerator.' I occasionally hear 'Thank you, brother-in-law,' which bothers me."

Lee Ho-sun, after learning the couple's ages and that they have three children, and hearing they have no savings or pension, remarked, "What are you doing? You need to get a grip. What can you do with nothing? You earn $8,000 a month but have nothing to show for it. Isn't that what you're asking? Being a dutiful daughter isn't bad, but it seems a bit excessive."
