K-pop singer and actress Nam Gyu-ri showcased her unique charm and candid personality in the second installment of her AI-assisted tour of Hannam-dong.
On the 22nd, the YouTube channel 'Nam Gyu-ri's Gyul-mong' released a video titled 'Nam Gyu-ri Wandering Hannam-dong?! with ChatGPT (BGM Samgyeopsal Song) | Nam Gyu-ri's Chaotic Vlog.'
Last week, Nam Gyu-ri faced a setback when AI mistakenly guided her to a closed army stew restaurant instead of a waffle house. She eventually satisfied her hunger with a sandwich and resumed her tour. Despite complaining to the AI, saying, “You don’t answer when it’s inconvenient, and I’m too tired,” she quickly regained her energy, engaging in playful banter with the AI.
In the video, Nam Gyu-ri revealed that her secret to passing an audition in the past was eating samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) in the morning. She even shared her self-composed 'Samgyeopsal Song,' which caught viewers' attention. The heartfelt lyrics, “Samgyeopsal, samgyeopsal, I like you so much,” paired with a catchy melody, even prompted the AI to comment, “The lyrics are quite sincere,” eliciting laughter.
During the tour, Nam Gyu-ri confided in the AI about her concerns regarding the potential reunion of her group SeeYa, which marked its 20th anniversary on March 12th. The group had previously attempted a reunion in 2020, which did not materialize.
When asked, “Should we reunite?” the AI responded with, “Fans would love it, but it could be another battle for the members,” and offered the quirky yet practical advice, “Do SeeYa and solo, do it all.”
Following the AI's recommendation, Nam Gyu-ri visited a Spanish restaurant, indulging in jamón and gambas, showcasing a delightful mukbang. The tour concluded with a visit to a historic jazz club in Itaewon, where she enjoyed a musical healing session.
As she listened to the jazz performance, Nam Gyu-ri pondered, “Would jazz suit me?” to which the AI replied, “It would be a beautiful mess,” wrapping up the whimsical Hannam-dong tour on a heartwarming note.
