Korean singer Seol Woon-do, known for his unique hobby of collecting rare stones, has made headlines by gifting these precious items to his proteges, Son Tae-jin and Lim Young-woong.
On the October 21st episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs', which featured 'Artist Seol Woon-do', Son Tae-jin, often referred to as Seol Woon-do's adopted son, shared intriguing stories.
MC Lee Chan-won expressed curiosity, saying, "I heard Son Tae-jin is like an adopted son to Seol Woon-do and received a rare stone from him."
Seol Woon-do's biological son, Lee Seung-hyun, who was present, explained with a complex expression, "My parents are collecting rare stones at their Yangpyeong villa for their retirement. It looked like a museum when I visited recently."
Comedian Kim Jun-hyun asked, "Did you receive a stone too, Seung-hyun?" to which Lee Seung-hyun replied with a wry smile, "I'm not even allowed to touch them!" causing laughter.
The surprising fact is that only two proteges have received these precious stones from Seol Woon-do. Lee Chan-won revealed, "The only direct proteges who received stone gifts are Lim Young-woong and Son Tae-jin." The panelists were amazed by this revelation.
Son Tae-jin showcased the 'turtle stone' he received from Seol Woon-do in the studio, leaving Lee Seung-hyun astonished, "That's something my father cherishes. I saw it at the villa," he said, unable to hide his surprise.
Meanwhile, Seol Woon-do previously appeared on a variety show where he was asked about his 'royalty-earning hit song'. He proudly mentioned, "The song 'My Starry Love' sung by Lim Young-woong has surpassed 70 million streams. Many people are listening to it."
