On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's 'Mr. House Husband Season 2', airing on the 21st, viewers will witness the surprising life of Takuya, who is known as a 'superstar' among his Japanese family, as he navigates his life in Seoul. The episode will also feature a day spent with his mother, who visits Korea without informing him.
In this episode, Takuya spends a frugal day at home, wearing a padded jacket indoors to save on heating costs. On a day without any scheduled activities, while in 'unemployed mode', Takuya receives an unexpected visitor. His Japanese mother, worried after seeing his broadcast, secretly travels to Korea.
Upon her first visit to her son's home, Takuya's mother is shocked by the untidy state of his apartment. As her nagging continues, Takuya admits, "I've been caught in my worst state," and leaves the house, creating tension in the studio.
Later, the mother and son sit down again, sharing a carefully prepared home-cooked meal and engaging in a cautious conversation. Takuya opens up about his faint childhood memories of his biological father for the first time, expressing his long-held curiosity about him.
Caught off guard by Takuya's unexpected questions, his mother eventually reveals the truth she has kept to herself for over 20 years, shedding tears in the process. Faced with this shocking revelation, Takuya is left deep in thought, unable to speak, as a heavy silence envelops the scene.
The heartfelt day shared by Takuya and his mother, along with the unveiling of their family's hidden past, can be seen on 'Mr. House Husband' on the 21st at 10:35 PM on KBS 2TV. Starting from the 28th, 'Mr. House Husband' will air every Saturday at 9:20 PM.
