Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook Reunite in New Reality Show 'After School Taeri Teacher'
Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook, who starred together in the 2022 drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One', reunite after four years in a new variety show. Born in 1990, Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook, born in 2002, have a 12-year age gap, promising a unique chemistry beyond their previous work.

On the 20th, an online press conference was held for tvN's new variety show 'After School Taeri Teacher'. The event was attended by directors Park Ji-ye and Hwang Seul-woo, along with Kim Tae-ri, Choi Hyun-wook, Kangnam, and Code Kunst.

'After School Taeri Teacher' is a reality show capturing a one-of-a-kind after-school theater class at a small village elementary school. Kim Tae-ri takes on the role of the theater class teacher, with Choi Hyun-wook and Kangnam as assistant teachers. Code Kunst participates as the music director for the theater stage.

Choi Hyun-wook shared about Kim Tae-ri, "I must say, I got scolded quite a bit. During 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One', I was hardly ever scolded, so I just thought of her as a friendly older sister. But this time, there were some clashes. I realized there were differences in opinions. But even that is a good memory for me," he said, praising Kim Tae-ri as an extraordinary person.

Code Kunst also described Kim Tae-ri as "a quiet yet passionate person. Usually, when we think of someone passionate and fiery, we imagine someone lively and active. But she is intensely passionate without being excessive." He added, "The three of us (Code Kunst, Kangnam, Choi Hyun-wook) often said, 'There's no reason for us to be here without our Taeri teacher.'"

Kangnam also praised Kim Tae-ri, saying, "During filming, you might think about other things or take a break, even for a moment. But she never does that. From start to finish, she focuses solely on the task. Even while eating, she talks about it. From an agency's perspective, she must be a dream. She's someone who immerses herself completely in one thing. Even when acting, she focuses solely on her role. I think she's incredibly dedicated and amazing."

'After School Taeri Teacher' premieres on the 22nd at 7:40 PM on tvN.
