Netflix's 'Single's Inferno 5' Star Lee Seong-hoon Denies Rumors of Being Former President's Grandson

Lee Seong-hoon, a contestant on Netflix's reality show 'Single's Inferno 5,' has addressed rumors linking him to former South Korean President Lee Myung-bak as his grandson.

Lee appeared on the 'HAHA Podcast' YouTube channel on the 17th, where he discussed various topics with the hosts, including his reasons for joining 'Single's Inferno 5' and behind-the-scenes stories from the show.

When asked in English if he was indeed the grandson of former President Lee Myung-bak, Lee Seong-hoon firmly denied the claim, stating, "No, it's already been clarified that this is not true." He added, "The internet is crazy." Previously, Lee had been caught up in rumors due to his resemblance in appearance and voice to the former president's grandson.

One of the hosts expressed disbelief, questioning how people could compare their facial structures and claim a resemblance, while another host remarked, "You can't believe everything you read on the internet."

Meanwhile, on 'Single's Inferno 5,' Lee Seong-hoon consistently expressed his feelings for Choi Min-a-su, and they chose each other in the final selection, forming a couple. However, during the spin-off program 'Single's Inferno Reunion' aired on the 14th, Lee revealed that they did not develop into a real-life romantic relationship.
