On October 20, Yoon Tae-hwa took to her Instagram to express, "There are so many things I need to forget," opening up about her recent experience.
She stated, "It was quite difficult to talk about it on the show, and I feel like my emotions were written all over my face. Still, I'm grateful for the support from the viewers," she said, thanking her audience.
Regarding her ex-husband, Yoon Tae-hwa shared, "I have no regrets about the genuine love we once shared. I realize I might seem immature because I tend to learn through experience. However, we are both supporting each other's lives while taking good care of our respective parents," she added, "I am only sorry and thankful to my former partner."
Yoon Tae-hwa expressed her aspirations, saying, "I want to become stronger, happier, and be recognized as a singer. Thanks to everyone, I have advanced to the semifinals. I will show a more carefree and energetic side in the semifinals."
Previously, on the October 19 episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot 4', Yoon Tae-hwa performed Choi Jin-hee's 'Confession' during the second round of the Legend Mission. The song 'Confession' is about the deep regret following a breakup.
When Choi Jin-hee asked Yoon Tae-hwa why she chose the song, Yoon Tae-hwa revealed with difficulty, "After finishing 'Miss Trot 2', I got married, but after living together for a year, I returned," disclosing her divorce. She explained, "When 'Miss Trot 2' started, my mother fell ill, which was very challenging. Although I got married to my then-boyfriend, I remained the head of my family. I couldn't fulfill my role as a wife because I had to take care of my mother, so we decided to live our own lives after discussing it."
Born in 1990, Yoon Tae-hwa debuted in the music industry in 2009 at the age of 19. She gained recognition through appearances on 'Miss Trot 2' and 'Current King of Singers'. In March 2022, she married a non-celebrity who is eight years her senior.
