Kim Sung-kyu Overcomes Injury with Determination and Showcases Chemistry with Jo Hyun-ah
Singer Kim Sung-kyu has shared a story of overcoming an injury with determination, while also showcasing his unpretentious charm and delightful chemistry with Jo Hyun-ah.

On Jo Hyun-ah's YouTube channel, 'Jo Hyun-ah's Ordinary Thursday Night,' a video titled 'The Endless Balance Game of a Professional Daydreamer and an Extreme Realist' was uploaded.

In the video, Kim Sung-kyu from the group INFINITE appeared and engaged in a deep conversation with Jo Hyun-ah. Kim revealed that his bones are thin and fragile, and he recounted a recent accident during a performance of the musical 'Death Note.' While performing a death scene, he fell and got his arm caught, but he endured the pain to finish the performance. The next day, he was diagnosed with a fracture at the hospital. Despite the discomfort, he continued performing, surprising those around him.

The stark contrast in their personalities also brought much laughter. Kim, whose MBTI is ISTJ, described himself as a realist who doesn't engage in unnecessary daydreaming, and he was shocked by Jo Hyun-ah's extroverted lifestyle of meeting friends daily.

Kim also agreed with Jo Hyun-ah's analysis that his concise and clear speech can sometimes be mistaken for coldness. Jo pointed out that Kim tends to have fewer reactions during conversations, to which Kim admitted that while he tries not to act artificially, he has had moments where he forced his energy to match others during broadcasts, causing laughter.

However, when it came to food preferences, they surprisingly complemented each other. During a balance game, they found that their preferences for dishes like cold noodles, fried and seasoned chicken, and chicken breast and thigh were distinctly different, making them perfect for sharing.

Kim expressed satisfaction, saying that when it comes to food, their relationship is almost a match made in heaven, and Jo responded by suggesting they dine together in the future. After reducing outings post-military service, Kim harmoniously showcased his contrasting charm with Jo during this meeting, creating a warm atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Kim Sung-kyu has announced the release of his solo mini-album 'Off the Map' after approximately 2 years and 8 months. The album will be available on various music sites on March 2nd at 6 PM.
