Counseling expert Lee Ho-sun has publicly addressed her departure from the recently released Disney+ show 'Fate War 49'.
On the 16th, Lee Ho-sun took to her social media to share the Chinese idiom '自愧之心' (a sense of shame) and explained the reasons behind her early exit from the show.
Lee stated, "No matter what, I have been a Christian all my life. Although not as long, I have also been a counselor for quite some time." She continued, "I am always conscious of God's perspective and pray for all my clients. Many of them carry anxieties and visit fortune tellers, religious institutions, and counseling centers. Therefore, I study the differences between counseling and shamanism, constantly striving not to lose my identity while remembering those who suffer in every moment."
She also addressed the specific reason for her absence after the first episode of the program. Lee explained, "I stepped down after just one episode because I realized it was not the path I should take. I learned the importance of being more cautious about the path ahead. Even at this age, I am learning again, albeit in an embarrassing way. I will turn back from the path I took and live with a clear mind."
Disney+ original variety show 'Fate War 49' features 49 fortune tellers who participate in various tasks to test their fate in a survival format. The show attempts to offer a fresh approach to viewers by adding new elements to the traditional survival format.
Lee Ho-sun is currently the head of the Department of Christian Counseling and Welfare at Soongsil Cyber University. She gained public recognition through JTBC's 'Divorce Deliberation Camp' and is currently active as a counselor addressing family communication issues on tvN STORY's 'Lee Ho-sun Counseling Center'.
