Although not born in the Year of the Horse, Kim Si-hyun explained his participation in the 'Horse Running' special by saying, "I want to run like a horse this year." He expressed excitement and nervousness about joining the 'Rainbow' club, being an avid fan of 'I Live Alone'.

The show gave viewers a glimpse into Kim's life as a seven-year veteran of living alone. His home features a simple bedroom contrasted by a large pantry in the living room. Born in 2000, Kim shared, "I've been living on my own since my senior year of high school. I moved here less than a month ago to have a bigger kitchen space for work."

Starting his career at Michelin 3-star restaurants at a young age, Kim revealed, "I had no experience when I started working right after high school. I submitted a portfolio and a letter I wrote during my school days." His graduation from the prestigious Korea Culinary Science High School impressed fellow cast member Kian84, who remarked, "You've followed an elite path."
