Hong Jin-kyung, 48, hesitated as she indirectly mentioned her ex-husband.
On the October 12th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Problematic Men in Rooftop Room' (hereafter 'Problematic Men'), actress Yoon Yoo-sun and former judge-turned-lawyer Lee Sung-ho appeared as guests.
During the show, Lee Sung-ho recalled, "When news of my marriage to my wife broke, the office was flooded with calls. An exclusive article was on the front page of the sports news. They even threatened to storm the office with cameras. I didn't go to work that day."
Currently appearing as a mediator on JTBC's 'Divorce Consideration Camp,' Lee Sung-ho shared, "My wife suddenly suggested I appear on the show. I wouldn't have gone on just any show, but she said, 'Wouldn't it be good to give advice and have a positive impact?' So I decided to participate."
Regarding her husband's TV appearance, Yoon Yoo-sun commented, "From the introduction, he had a 'Who am I? Where am I?' expression. He said wearing the robe felt very awkward. He delivered the scripted lines quite awkwardly," she laughed.
Hong Jin-kyung spoke about the positive aspects of 'Divorce Consideration Camp,' saying, "A lot of unique couples appear on the show. Watching it makes you appreciate and find your spouse more beautiful when you get home. I used to feel the same when I was on a show called 'Aero Couple,' but then I..." she paused.
Having announced her divorce last year, Hong Jin-kyung indirectly mentioned her ex-husband and quickly tried to recover, saying, "Oops." Yang Se-chan quipped, "It's been a while since I've seen someone struggling alone," while Joo Woo-jae joked, "I thought she was adrift at sea." Hong Jin-kyung humorously added, "The train stopped itself," eliciting laughter.
Hong Jin-kyung married a businessman five years her senior in 2003 and had a daughter in 2010. She announced her divorce in August last year after 22 years of marriage.
