MBC's 'The Manager' is set to reveal the extraordinary life of 'K-Animal Dad' Kang Tae, whose videos have amassed over 500 million views. The upcoming episode, airing on the 14th, will showcase Kang Tae's dedication to rescuing and caring for animals, as well as his unique living situation dubbed 'Kangtopia,' where humans and animals coexist harmoniously.
Kang Tae's day starts in a rather unusual way. He wakes up in a large bed shared with four humans and seven animals, immediately diving into a whirlwind of caregiving. To manage the simultaneous care of two human babies and seven animal babies, including dogs and cats, he employs a variety of nine different toothpastes and toothbrushes. The episode will also reveal the couple's decision to have a natural home birth, emphasizing their desire for a life where humans and animals live together naturally.
The broadcast will also highlight Kang Tae's intriguing relationship with 'Dada,' a dog who has become an online sensation. Kang Tae met Dada a year ago when she was abandoned, and since then, he has successfully found homes for her ten puppies. His close bond with Dada, who is still temporarily housed at Kangtopia, often sparks jealousy from his wife, Tae-ra. She humorously admits, "They are almost like a married couple. Sometimes I get jealous," bringing laughter to the studio.
The episode will further unveil the professional side of Kang Tae and his wife Tae-ra. Together, they run a nonprofit animal protection organization called 'PawCatMung Center.' As the director and chairperson, they lead a busy life dedicated to animal welfare. Their day includes meticulously cleaning kennels and catteries, caring for sick animals, and managing adoption statuses, showcasing their genuine passion for animal protection.
