Heartfelt Messages Reveal Late Actor Jung Eun-woo's Struggles and Legacy
Messages exchanged between the late actor Jung Eun-woo and a close acquaintance have been made public.

On the 11th, designer Hwang Young-long shared messages exchanged with Jung Eun-woo on social media. Hwang expressed his sorrow, saying, "I should have answered the call, but I really didn't know. I'm so sorry. I should have been more attentive. I'm truly sorry and sincerely grateful. It's so sad. I promise to keep my word. Love you, farewell."

The revealed messages show Jung Eun-woo confiding in Hwang, saying, "There are so many liars and swindlers in the world. I was a fool at the broadcasting station. I tried to find solace in new people after being hurt by others. It's so dirty. Why do people live like that?"

Jung Eun-woo continued, "Still, I try to believe. Enduring is the real victory. Saying 'stay strong' is a lie. Trying to endure with someone else's strength is impossible after being betrayed for four years. There's no loyalty. Those who called me brother for over ten years."

Meanwhile, Jung Eun-woo passed away on the 11th at the age of 40. His memorial is set up at the New Goryeo Hospital Funeral Hall in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, Room 2. The funeral will be held on the 13th at noon, and the burial will take place at Byeokje Crematorium.

Jung Eun-woo debuted in 2006 with the KBS2 youth drama 'Sharp 3' and appeared in 'Bride of the Sun,' 'Five Fingers,' 'A Well Grown Daughter,' 'Stranger,' 'The Return of Hwang Geum-bok,' and 'My Only One.' His last work was the 2021 film 'Memory: Manipulated Murder.'
