Kim Jun-han's ambitious journey unfolds.
tvN's new weekend drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' (written by Oh Han-ki, directed by Im Pil-sung, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Mindmark, Studio329) tells the suspenseful story of a struggling building owner who gets involved in a fake kidnapping to protect his family and property.
Kim Jun-han takes on the role of Min Hwal-seong, the close friend of Ki Soo-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo). Min Hwal-seong, with his good looks and eloquent speech, marries Jeon Yi-kyung (played by Jung Soo-jung), the daughter of a wealthy family, but ends up as a live-in son-in-law. After repeated failures in investments and business, he becomes insignificant in his household.
Min Hwal-seong feels superior to his friend Ki Soo-jong. He jokingly suggests that Ki Soo-jong sell his building to him, subtly belittling him. In his quest for recognition from his wife and mother-in-law, he scrambles to gather money and seizes opportunities, leading to increasingly uncontrollable situations. Min Hwal-seong's complex friendship with Ki Soo-jong is set to heighten the drama's intrigue.
In the released stills, Kim Jun-han perfectly transforms into the boastful Min Hwal-seong. He exudes sweetness as a loving husband in front of his wife, Jeon Yi-kyung. His anxious demeanor and sharp gaze raise curiosity about what he is up to.
Anticipation builds for Kim Jun-han's portrayal of Min Hwal-seong's inner desires for success and recognition. Known for his solid acting skills and character portrayal in various works, Kim Jun-han is expected to convincingly depict Min Hwal-seong's ambitions, intensifying the drama's tension.
The production team stated, "Min Hwal-seong's ambitions complicate matters and pose a threat to Ki Soo-jong. Look forward to Kim Jun-han's impactful performance as he navigates the consequences of his actions in 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea.'"
