Hwang Min-hyun Releases New Single 'Truth' and Wins Visionary Award

Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun is set to release his new single 'Truth' at 6 PM on the 11th.

'Truth' is a pop ballad that conveys the message that, despite the uncertainties of daily life, the truth of being together remains unchanged. The song expresses a sense of relief when thinking of someone at the end of a long day. This release marks Hwang Min-hyun's first new song in about two years since 'Lullaby,' and fans are eagerly anticipating it.

Hwang Min-hyun gave fans a sneak peek of the song during his fan meeting held from the 6th to the 8th at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. His clear voice blended with the gentle melody and heartfelt lyrics, leaving a lasting impression. Hwang Min-hyun shared, "I wanted to convey to Hwangdo (his fandom) that even when we are tired and struggling, the fact that we are together does not change," and added, "Just being by your side helps me breathe again," receiving applause from the audience.

Hwang Min-hyun continues to make strides as an 'all-rounder' in both stage and broadcast. On the 10th, he attended the '2026 CJ Visionary' awards ceremony held at the CJ ENM Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul. This event honors individuals or works that present new visions in the entertainment industry. Hwang Min-hyun received the Visionary Trophy for his role as Yoon Ga-min in the TVING original 'Study Group.' He has confirmed his appearance in the second season of the series, promising another iconic performance.

The fan meetings continue as well. Hwang Min-hyun will hold 'HWANG MIN HYUN FAN MEETING [UTOPIA] IN TOKYO' over three sessions on December 4th and 5th at the Tokyo International Forum Hall. The final performance will be broadcast live on TV Asahi Channel.

Meanwhile, the group Wanna One, which Hwang Min-hyun was a part of, will reunite for the first time in seven years for Mnet's new reality program 'Wanna One 'Go'' in the first half of this year.
