Baek Jong-won, the CEO of The Born Korea, is mourning the loss of his mother. Actress So Yoo-jin, his wife, is also grieving the loss of her mother-in-law.
According to The Born Korea, Baek's mother, Lee Kyung-sook, passed away on the 10th at the age of 86.
The funeral will be held at Room 31 of the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital Funeral Hall, starting at 10 AM on the 11th. The burial is scheduled for 8 AM on the 13th, with the final resting place in Seogye-yang-ri, Shinyang-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungnam.
Baek Jong-won has previously expressed his deep affection for his mother on his YouTube channel. He shared, "When I decided to start a business, my grandparents disapproved. My mother often got scolded by my grandmother because of this. I am grateful and sorry to my mother."
Baek Jong-won married So Yoo-jin in January 2013, and they have one son and two daughters. Coincidentally, at 10:10 PM on the same day, Baek Jong-won will appear on the premiere of tvN's variety show 'Baek Sajang 3'.
