Actress Shin Hye-sun shared her thoughts on reuniting with Lee Jun-hyuk.
On the 10th, a press conference for the Netflix series 'Lady Duaa' was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Shin Hye-sun, Lee Jun-hyuk, and director Kim Jin-min.
The Netflix series 'Lady Duaa' tells the story of 'Sarah Kim', a woman who wants to become a luxury brand even if it's fake, and 'Moo-kyung', a man who tracks her desires.
Shin Hye-sun plays 'Sarah Kim', the enigmatic head of the Asian branch of the top 0.1% brand 'Boudoir', known by everyone but truly known by no one. Lee Jun-hyuk plays 'Moo-kyung', a detective who discovers that everything about her is fake and persistently seeks the truth.
Lee Jun-hyuk and Shin Hye-sun reunite after 9 years since their appearance in tvN's 'Stranger'. Regarding his chemistry with Shin Hye-sun, Lee Jun-hyuk said, "Hye-sun is a wonderful worker and colleague. I felt comfortable, and she filled in everything even when I wasn't around."
Lee Jun-hyuk further expressed his affection, saying, "After the project ended, I wanted to work with Hye-sun again. It was that comfortable and enjoyable." He jokingly added, "I imagined us reuniting as a successful couple in our 50s, too lazy to have an affair, but eventually stepping out at the end."
Shin Hye-sun also reminisced, "During 'Stranger', I was a complete rookie both in the drama and in real life. Lee Jun-hyuk was a great senior to me back then." She added, "I was too busy trying to keep up with him to feel any chemistry. He gave me a lot of advice, and he was handsome then and still is now."
She continued, "When we worked together again this time, he was still handsome, and there was a definite sense of trust without needing to say anything. It felt natural to work together again, and I realized that time cannot be ignored."
The Netflix series 'Lady Duaa' will be exclusively released on Netflix on the 13th.
