Actor Kim San-ho has shared some behind-the-scenes stories.
On the 9th, the YouTube channel 'Kim Hyun-sook's Mukgo Live' released a video titled 'Why Did San-ho Leave Young-ae Then? Rude Miss Young-ae Season 18? Reunion(?) Possibility?'.
In the video, Kim Hyun-sook invited Kim San-ho to her new home. The two, who worked together on 'Rude Miss Young-ae', expressed their joy at reuniting by hugging and saying, "It's been a while." Kim San-ho remarked, "People ask a lot about you," acknowledging the enduring popularity of 'Rude Miss Young-ae'.
Kim Hyun-sook shared, "Female fans really loved Young-ae because of San-ho. They wished Young-ae would actually marry San-ho." She humorously added, "If San-ho were single, we would have met more often, but since he's married, it's unfortunate... I mean, personally, congratulations," drawing laughter.
Reflecting on Young-ae's male counterparts in 'Rude Miss Young-ae', Kim Hyun-sook said, "Back then, I met them without much break. I want to live as Young-ae in the drama. Among the men Young-ae met, many said San-ho and Young-ae were a good match." She also expressed regret about not being able to properly say goodbye.
Kim San-ho, who joined 'Rude Miss Young-ae' in the middle seasons, shared, "At that time, tvN dramas were not familiar, so when I said I was filming a cable drama, people would ask, 'Are you doing it because you couldn't make it on public broadcast? Did you get paid a lot?' Initially, I wondered if it was the right choice, but it turned out to be a leading role in a changing era. After that, I received many offers for romantic comedies and sitcoms."
Kim San-ho revealed, "The writers suggested going to karaoke after dinner. My manager insisted I should go." Kim Hyun-sook humorously commented, "If it were these days, those people would have been in trouble. They were fulfilling their personal desires," causing laughter.
Kim San-ho, who suddenly left the show after a 'breakup' announcement following a proposal, candidly shared, "Young-ae's men were always anxious. I just wanted to continue working together, so it was disappointing."
When asked if he ever felt a real spark while filming with Kim Hyun-sook, Kim San-ho stated, "We were strictly business. We were both actively dating others."
Kim San-ho, who once dreamed of becoming a kindergarten director, shared, "My daughter is now 7 years old. The tough times are over. She attends a musical academy, and although she doesn't seem to have a natural talent, she enjoys it. If she wants to become an actress, I'll support her."
