The 14th TOP TEN AWARDS (TTA) has officially kicked off, inviting fans to vote for the 'Best Global Artist' of 2025. This year's competition is fiercer than ever, with both singers and actors vying for the prestigious title, heightening the excitement among fandoms.
Hosted by TenAsia, the TTA aims to recognize the top global artist for the latter half of 2025. The event showcases talents from K-pop and K-content, with artists competing for the coveted 'Best Global Artist' accolade.
Preliminary voting is underway via the Celeb Champ application, running from February 9 at 10 AM to February 18 at 11:59 PM. The final voting round will take place from February 19 to 23.
The 2025 TTA is divided into two phases. In January, fans voted on the Idol Champ application across five categories: Best Male Group, Best Female Group, Best Male Solo, Best Female Solo, and Best Rookie. The current voting on the Celeb Champ application includes five categories: Best Male Actor, Best Female Actor, Best Male Singer, Best Female Singer, and Best Song.
Each category features 10 nominees, listed alphabetically. The Best Male Actor nominees are Kim Seon-ho, Park Bo-gum, Byeon Woo-seok, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Je-hoon, Lee Jun-hyuk, Lee Jun-ho, Jung Hae-in, Chae Jong-hyeop, and Choo Young-woo. For Best Female Actor, the nominees include Go Youn-jung, Kim You-jung, Kim Ji-won, Kim Hye-yoon, Park Bo-young, IU, Lim Yoon-a, Lee Hye-ri, and Han So-hee.
In the Best Male Solo category, nominees are Kim Yong-bin, Kim Hee-jae, Park Koon, Park Seo-jin, Son Tae-jin, Song Min-jun, Enoch, Lim Young-woong, Jang Min-ho, and Jeong Dong-won. The Best Female Solo nominees include Kim Da-hyun, Kim Eui-young, MaiJin, Song Ga-in, Younha, Eun Ga-eun, Lee Young-ji, Jeon Yu-jin, Han Ro-ro, and Hong Ja.
Nominees for each TTA category were selected through a thorough review process, incorporating selection criteria and journalist recommendations. Actor nominees were chosen based on their ranking in Celeb Champ's TOP 100 (male/female) and the top 1-3 artists in the 2025 Celeb Champ voting. The selection of male and female solo singer nominees considered the 2025 Celeb Champ chart, TOP 100 favorite counts, new song releases, and music broadcast history. Best Song nominees were selected from songs that ranked in the top 3 of live voting on Trot Champion and the top 5 of the monthly Melon chart (excluding K-pop) in the second half of last year.
The top 2 artists from each category, determined through the preliminary rounds, will advance to the finals to compete for the title of 'Best Global Artist of the Second Half of 2025'.
