On October 8, Kwon Mina shared a post on her Instagram, stating, "I've been writing a diary every day for a long time..." along with a photo.
The photo shows Kwon revisiting a diary entry from January 23. The entry includes reflections such as 'I asked several people why they dislike me,' 'Even when good things happen, I feel guilty,' 'Let's fully appreciate the gratitude of life given to us,' and 'I deserve that too.'
Kwon Mina revealed, "In the past, walking was my way of relieving stress, but for the past few years, I've been writing in my diary instead," adding, "When I get anxious, I've even written every 10 minutes."
However, referring to a recent diary entry, she expressed a return of her depressive feelings, stating, "I don't know what expectations or hopes I had, I just feel like a fool. Maybe I should just tear it up, it's ridiculous."
Earlier that day, Kwon Mina disclosed on her social media that she had undergone a cosmetic procedure for skin tightening, but woke up to excruciating pain and facial burns, revealing a serious medical mishap.
Kwon Mina debuted with the group AOA in 2012, gaining popularity with hits like 'Heart Attack,' 'Bingle Bangle,' 'Like a Cat,' and 'Short Skirt.' She left the group in 2019 and later brought attention to bullying issues within the group in 2020, leading to AOA's eventual disbandment. Since then, she has pursued acting and worked in dermatology consultation, but has paused these activities and terminated a contract with an agency just a month after signing.
