Actor Park Hae-jun recently clarified the origins of his nickname 'K-Arts Jang Dong-gun.'
On the 6th, a video titled 'It's Not a Crime to Fall for Park Hae-jun, Who's Back with Human Intelligence!' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Yoo In Radio.'
During the show, Park Hae-jun humorously shared, "My heart feels like it's going to explode. I'm here to see if my daughter has made a good friend, as she's friends with IU." His comment brought laughter to the audience.
Yoo In-na added to the warm atmosphere by saying, "Someone is nervously biting their nails at home. IU has been waiting for this day," and quoted IU saying, "Senior Hae-jun is like everyone's ideal type, our ideal type."
Reflecting on his acceptance speech at the 2024 Blue Dragon Film Awards for 'Spring in Seoul,' Park Hae-jun said, "I only prepared a speech for the Best Supporting Actor nomination. Kids, are you still awake? Dad's on TV because he won an award." He humorously admitted, "It was a mess. Speaking in public is stressful, but I think it'll work out somehow."
He emphasized his motto, "Don't try to do well," explaining, "That's about my level, so why try to excel?" Yoo In-na encouraged him to "comfortably show your discomfort today," with a smile.
During his time at the Korea National University of Arts, Park Hae-jun was nicknamed 'K-Arts 2nd Generation Jang Dong-gun' and 'Italian Statue.' He clarified, "I think those keywords were exaggerated in articles. It wasn't like that back then. No one called me that."
When photos from his 20s showcasing his looks were revealed, Park Hae-jun shared, "I think it was a waiting room at a theater. I had a terrible hangover that day and was holding my head. The photos were heavily edited. My face was originally red, and I was wondering why the hangover wouldn't go away."
When asked if his handsome face was a complex, Park Hae-jun replied, "I want to act well, but since I can't, I used that as an excuse. Internally, I'm like soybean paste or fermented soybean paste, but I often had to play upright roles. I couldn't pretend to be cool in front of others."
