ENHYPEN member Sunghoon took part as a torchbearer for the '2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics' on October 5th in Milan, Italy.
A former national figure skating team member, Sunghoon expressed his excitement through his agency, Belift Lab, stating, "It is an honor to step onto the Olympic stage as a singer, a dream I had as an athlete. I was thrilled to be part of this prestigious journey and received immense energy from ENGENE (the fandom) and sports fans."
The area near Milan's Bolivar station, the designated torch relay section, was packed with global fans eager to see Sunghoon. Hours before his appearance, fans filled the streets, draped in Korean flags and holding banners that read "Sunghoon, Fighting" in Korean.
The atmosphere was electric with cheers of his name. As Sunghoon received the flame and began his segment, countless fans followed his steps. During the 20-minute relay, he spread the Olympic spirit and the message of unity, responding to the enthusiastic support with smiles and waves before passing the torch to the next bearer.
ENHYPEN's mini-album 'MANIFESTO : DAY 1' features the track 'SHOUT OUT,' which has been chosen as the official cheer song for Team Korea, adding energy to the Olympic event.
