Oh Sang-jin, the elite broadcaster, showcased his exceptional support for his 'multi-millionaire CEO' wife on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'.
On the episode aired on the 6th, Oh Sang-jin made his debut as a new chef on the show. He expressed gratitude towards his wife, saying, "It's the weekend recording today. I feel sorry because my wife is taking care of our 7-year-old daughter. I usually handle childcare on weekends, but she allowed me this unexpected outing, and I'm thankful for that." His close friends, MC Boom and Kim Jun-hyun, teased him, saying, "You can't help but smile," bringing laughter to the set.
Oh Sang-jin, a Yonsei University graduate, has always been on the elite path, ranking 20th nationwide in high school, being in the top 0.1%, and having an IQ of 148. He caught attention by starting his day in the kitchen at 7 AM, taking care of his daughter Sua's breakfast, morning study, and school preparations, as well as supporting his 39-year-old wife, So-young.
Oh Sang-jin married his fellow MBC announcer Kim So-young after two years of dating. Kim So-young, who initially ran a bookstore with her severance pay of 30 million won, has now become a CEO of a shopping platform, managing beauty and health brands. Recently, she secured a 7 billion won investment from a renowned investment firm, establishing herself as a multi-millionaire entrepreneur.
Oh Sang-jin shared, "My wife seems more excited about business than household chores," adding, "As she got busier, I became the primary caregiver for our daughter." He also mentioned, "Childcare is routine, and cooking is my nature. I'm satisfied with my life as a homemaker." Kim So-young acknowledged, "My husband takes full responsibility for childcare."
Meanwhile, Oh Sang-jin and Kim So-young, who married in 2017, have a daughter named Sua and are expecting a son in April.
