Actor Ha Jung-woo has confirmed his relationship with Cha Jung-won, sparking renewed interest in his past comments about his ideal type.
On October 5, online discussions have resurfaced regarding Ha Jung-woo's ideal type. Last December, Ha appeared on the web variety show 'Jjanhyung' where he described his ideal type as "cute and sexy." He further specified, "an exotic feel, Puerto Rican style," which caught the attention of many. Following the dating rumors, fans have noted the similarities between his described ideal type and Cha Jung-won's vibe.
Ha Jung-woo's agency, Workhouse Company, confirmed to TenAsia on October 4, "Ha Jung-woo is in a relationship. However, nothing has been decided regarding marriage."
A media outlet reported that Ha Jung-woo is planning to get married in July. His father, Kim Yong-gun, reportedly told the outlet, "They are getting married because they love each other," but Ha Jung-woo's side clarified that "nothing has been confirmed" regarding the marriage rumors.
Born in 1978, Ha Jung-woo debuted in 2003 and has starred in films such as 'The Chaser,' 'Take Off,' 'Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time,' 'The Berlin File,' 'Assassination,' and the 'Along with the Gods' series. He has also directed films like 'Fasten Your Seatbelt,' 'Chronicle of a Blood Merchant,' 'Lobbyist,' and 'The Neighbors Upstairs.' Ha Jung-woo is set to return to the small screen with tvN's new weekend drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea,' premiering on November 14.
