Shin Dong-yup and Sun Hye-yoon's daughter has been accepted into Seoul National University's Physical Education Department.
Recently, the ballet academy attended by Shin Dong-yup's daughter, Shin Ji-hyo, announced, "Accepted into the 2026 academic year at Seoul National University. Proud graduate Shin Ji-hyo (Sunhwa Arts High School 3rd year). Accepted into the College of Education's Physical Education Department at Seoul National University."
They added, "Ji-hyo, who has achieved her dreams one by one, is truly admirable. We will continue to support her unwaveringly."
Last September, Shin Dong-yup's daughter also announced her acceptance into the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts). Shin Dong-yup later revealed this news himself on his web show 'Jjanhyung.' Shin Ji-hyo is an elite student who attended Sunhwa Arts Middle and High School, majoring in ballet.
Netizens responded with comments such as, "It's amazing to be accepted into two of the top universities in the country," "Which will she choose between Seoul National University and K-Arts?" and "Congratulations!"
Meanwhile, Shin Dong-yup married PD Sun Hye-yoon in 2006, and they have a daughter, Shin Ji-hyo, and a son, Shin Ki-wan.
