Actor Kim Seung-soo Considers International Marriage After 16 Years of Being Single

Actor Kim Seung-soo (54) has revealed that his last relationship was 16 years ago and shared his thoughts on international marriage.

Kim Seung-soo and So Yi-hyun are set to appear on the upcoming episode of KBS2's variety show 'Problem Child in House' airing on the 5th.

During the show, Kim Seung-soo surprised everyone by admitting that he had considered international marriage to end his long single life. While solving a quiz about the Baltic States, he showcased his extensive knowledge on the subject, revealing that his last relationship was 16 years ago.

Kim Seung-soo mentioned that he and his single friends once joked about needing to visit the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), which are experiencing a male population decline, to find a spouse. In response, Kim Jong-kook humorously encouraged Kim Seung-soo to make the trip with fellow bachelor Im Won-hee.

Kim Seung-soo also shared his dream wedding plans. Having spent an amount equivalent to an apartment on wedding gifts over 30 years, he declared that he would have a 'zero-dollar wedding,' not expecting any monetary gifts in return. He expressed his desire for a wedding where guests can celebrate without financial burdens, but jokingly warned Kim Jong-kook that he would still accept his gift, bringing laughter to the set.

The reason behind Kim Seung-soo's decision to accept only Kim Jong-kook's gift will be revealed on 'Problem Child in House' airing at 8:30 PM.

Meanwhile, Kim Seung-soo recently faced rumors of marriage with Park Se-ri, which were debunked as AI-generated fake videos. Kim Seung-soo expressed his frustration, stating, "I've been misunderstood as a married man throughout my career, and just when I shed that image, these videos spread. Although they were well-made using AI, the marriage rumors are not true." Kim Seung-soo had previously sparked a romantic atmosphere with Yang Jung-won on 'My Little Old Boy' in 2024, but ended the flirtation after nine months.
