On the latest episode of KBS2's variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4', aired on the 1st, Yoo Seon-ho, who recently confirmed his relationship with actress Shin Eun-soo, found himself struggling in the 'endless cycling hell'. Fellow cast member Kim Jong-min offered words of comfort amidst the chaos.
The episode featured the conclusion of the '2026 Winter Camp' and the beginning of the 'Gogunsan Archipelago Race' in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do. The show achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 8.7%, securing the top spot in its time slot, according to Nielsen Korea. A scene where Lee Joon guessed the number of garlic cloves and was rewarded with a crab dish peaked at a 12.3% rating.
After a harsh winter night with temperatures dropping to -20°C, the members successfully woke up and reported their survival. Kim Jong-min, who endured the freezing outdoor sleep, remarked, "Today was one of the coldest and toughest experiences, definitely among the top in '2 Days & 1 Night' history."
The team concluded the winter camp with a nail-hammering game to decide who would take a cold water shower. Kim Jong-min, unable to hammer the nail, was chosen for the icy challenge, stripping down in -15°C weather and completing the task, creating a humorous scene as steam rose from his body.
The adventure continued in the scenic Gogunsan Archipelago, where the team embarked on a race to complete missions at various locations by 1 PM. The first challenge, 'Endless Flour Hell', required the members to succeed in three stages, with Lee Joon and Kim Jong-min getting covered in flour each time they failed.
The second mission, 'Endless Cycling Hell', saw Yoo Seon-ho struggling to answer quiz questions, resulting in a 9km ride before he could escape the challenge. Despite the delay, Kim Jong-min reassured him, "Viewers will love you for your effort."
The team then split into two groups for the next mission: selling ice cream or hotteok. Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon regretted their choice of ice cream as they climbed a mountain with 5 liters of it, while the hotteok team completed their task quickly and waited comfortably.
The final mission at Seonyudo Beach involved filling a leaky jar with seawater. Despite the freezing conditions, the team worked together to complete the task, showcasing their strong teamwork.
After completing the race, the team won three out of six ingredients for their lunch through a ladder game, ending up with 'whelk and scallops', 'ramen', and 'kimchi'. Satisfied with their meal, they were told by the production team to rest, though suspicions arose when Moon Se-yoon discovered a new mission.
The episode left viewers curious about the afternoon race, following a morning filled with relentless challenges.
