Hwang Min-hyun candidly shared his feelings about his sister's wedding on the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy'.
On the episode aired on the 1st, singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun appeared as a special MC. He revealed that this was his first variety show appearance since completing his military service, stating, "It's been a month since I was discharged," showcasing his fresh charm.
Recently, Hwang Min-hyun participated in the 'Aegyo Challenge' for his fans, saying, "I did it because the fans really wanted it," demonstrating his exceptional love for his fans. He also entertained the 'Movengers' with an impromptu aegyo performance.
Shin Dong-yup commented, "There's a reason Hwang Min-hyun is so handsome," as he revealed a family photo showing their striking resemblance. The 'Movengers' were impressed, saying, "The family looks alike. His mother has great visuals."
Acknowledging his 'lookalike family', Hwang Min-hyun expressed pride in his appearance, saying, "I inherited all the good traits. I got my mother's fair skin and my father's height. They gave me all the good parts."
Hwang Min-hyun shared that he sang at his sister's wedding, who is close in age to him, saying, "We used to fight a lot when we were young, but I felt sentimental when she got married. Since I'm a singer, I sang for her."
When asked about his first impression of his brother-in-law, Hwang Min-hyun said, "I'm usually good at approaching older brothers, but since my brother-in-law is the same age as me, the title felt awkward. Also, he seemed a bit intimidated because I'm a celebrity."
Shin Dong-yup advised, "Just call him brother-in-law comfortably," to which Hwang Min-hyun replied with a smile, "I call him brother-in-law and don't use formal speech."
Meanwhile, Hwang Min-hyun completed his social service duty of about 1 year and 9 months and was discharged on December 21, 2025. He returned as an MC for the '2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon' and is planning a fan meeting this year.
