During the episode, Lee Yeol confronted Im Jae-yi (played by Hong Min-ki) with a stern, "Is it you again?" to which Im Jae-yi replied, "I guess my true intentions are slipping out." Lee Yeol warned, "Don't make me regret not finishing you off last time."
Despite the tension, Im Jae-yi laughed, prompting an enraged Lee Yeol to grab him by the collar, demanding, "Do you find this funny? Because of your family's greed, many lives were at risk. I don't want to see any blood today, so leave."
Im Jae-yi suggested, "Just punish me," but Lee Yeol retorted, "Your brother who gave the orders will be punished the same, and your punishment has already been decided." Shocked by the revelation that Hong Eun-jo was also targeted, Im Jae-yi was left speechless. Lee Yeol then made his way to where Hong Eun-jo was.
Upon seeing Lee Yeol, Hong Eun-jo approached him, asking, "Were you here?" Lee Yeol inquired about the patient's condition, to which Hong Eun-jo replied, "The arrow didn't penetrate deeply," adding, "Thanks to you, we saved the family." She expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for coming." Lee Yeol, attempting to remove the embedded arrow, asked, "Who asked you to?"
Hong Eun-jo cautioned, "What if something goes wrong while you're here? I'll handle the rest," but Lee Yeol insisted, "Why won't this come out?" as he tried to assist. Hong Eun-jo urged, "Listen to me," but Lee Yeol replied, "I'm stubborn too."
During this exchange, Lee Yeol's mask slipped off, prompting Hong Eun-jo to advise, "At least wear your mask properly." Lee Yeol retorted, "If you're going to nag, just leave," but Hong Eun-jo, as a medical professional, adjusted his mask. Lee Yeol complied, and Hong Eun-jo remarked, "If you catch a cold, you'll turn the hospital upside down. Do you even realize where you are, acting so fearlessly?"
To this, Lee Yeol confessed, "I'm naturally a coward and running away is my specialty, but when I'm with you, I lose my fear. It's because you keep calling me the hero of a tale, making me braver." He added, "This is why I should be careful about who I associate with," before turning away.
