Tensions Rise as 'I Am Solo' Contestants Clash Over Kicking Showdown
The latest episode of 'I Am Solo' featuring contestants Sang-cheol and Young-cheol's kicking showdown has sparked a debate among viewers.

On the YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment TV,' operated by ENA and SBS PLUS's 'I Am Solo,' a video titled '※Unreleased Footage※ 29th Class_The Last Night at Solo Country 29! A Kicking Show Out of Nowhere?' was uploaded.

In the video, on the last night at Solo Country, the contestants recalled Sang-cheol's taekwondo demonstration during his introduction. Sang-cheol expressed regret that his initial kick wasn't impressive and decided to redeem himself with another kicking display.

Sang-cheol promised to perform a kick in front of Soon-ja without touching her. Soon-ja joked, "Am I going to get knocked out by a kick to the head?" Sang-cheol replied, "If I raise my knee, it reaches your chin," and then remarked, "Were you always this tall?" Soon-ja humorously responded, "I'm 158cm," eliciting laughter.

Sang-cheol aimed to kick over Soon-ja's height. With a loud shout, he successfully executed the kick, clearing Soon-ja's height. Encouraged by his success, Sang-cheol attempted to place an obstacle on Soon-ja's head for another kick, but Young-cheol intervened.

Young-cheol, who has a background in judo, advised Sang-cheol, "From what I see, you're not really into forms, are you? This is more like a competitive kick, isn't it?" He urged Sang-cheol to stop, saying, "Let's end it nicely here." Despite Young-cheol's advice, Sang-cheol attempted again and succeeded, restoring his pride with an impressive kicking show.

Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Sang-cheol expressed deep regret over not choosing Young-ja as his final partner. Reflecting on his time at Solo Country 29, he recalled his dilemma between Young-ja and Ok-soon. Sang-cheol admitted, "Both had a lot of charm, making the decision difficult, but after watching the broadcast, I deeply regret missing out on the precious Young-ja."
