South Korean singer and actress Nam Gyu-ri, born in 1984, has captured attention with her first solo travel adventure, showcasing her human charm and her friendship with fellow actress Lee Se-young, born in 1992.

On the 25th, Nam Gyu-ri's YouTube channel 'Gyu-ri's Gyul-mong' released a video titled 'Ep.31 Nam Gyu-ri's Tumultuous Hong Kong Trip | Traveling Alone Isn't Easy...!'

The trip was a spontaneous decision following a call from her close friend participating in the Hong Kong Marathon. Despite her nerves about traveling alone for the first time, Nam Gyu-ri shared her New Year's resolution for 2026: "Let's be brave and grow more," as she gathered her courage.

However, unexpected challenges arose immediately upon her arrival in Hong Kong. From issues with her camera's memory card to a taxi ride that didn't accept card payments, her journey began with a series of mishaps. These moments, contrasting with her usually perfect image, endeared her to her subscribers, known as 'Gyulbyeol-i,' who found humor in her relatable struggles.

Amidst the chaos, Nam Gyu-ri was joined by surprise travel companion, actress Lee Se-young. Together, they enjoyed local Hong Kong cuisine, rode a double-decker bus, and took in the city's dazzling night views. The video also captured a delightful encounter with singer Sean, who was participating in the marathon.

In December of last year, Nam Gyu-ri released her new song 'December Dream' and continues to engage with her audience by sharing various aspects of her life on her YouTube channel 'Gyul-mong.'
