Actor Yoo Soo-bin is set to appear in MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife'.
The drama is set in a 21st-century constitutional monarchy in South Korea and tells the story of a wealthy woman who is frustrated by her 'commoner' status and a prince who is saddened by his inability to possess anything. Together, they embark on a journey to defy their fates and break free from societal constraints.
With IU, Byun Woo-seok, Noh Sang-hyun, and Gong Seung-yeon already confirmed, Yoo Soo-bin's addition completes a strong lineup for the series.
Yoo Soo-bin will portray Choi Hyun, the loyal aide to Grand Prince Ian, played by Byun Woo-seok. Choi Hyun is a character full of loyalty, willing to do anything for the prince. Inside the palace, he is respectful and dutiful, but outside, he shares a more casual camaraderie with the prince, promising an intriguing bromance that will add depth to the storyline.
Yoo Soo-bin has previously impressed audiences with his performances in 'Crash Landing on You', 'Start-Up', 'D.P. Season 2', 'The Deal', 'Weak Hero Class 1, 2', and 'Your Taste'. His portrayal of Choi Hyun is highly anticipated as viewers look forward to the premiere of '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife'.
The drama is scheduled to premiere in April.
