Actor Lomon recently shared on the YouTube variety show 'Salon Drip' that he declined casting offers from the top three Korean entertainment agencies.
On the episode aired on the 27th, actors Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon appeared as guests, revealing their unique connection. Lomon shared that although Kim Hye-yoon wanted to call the younger actor Lee Jae-wook 'oppa,' they ended up speaking informally. Lomon added, "I also wanted to call her Hye-yoon, but because we have many mutual acquaintances, we became like siblings."
Kim Hye-yoon praised Lomon, who is three years younger, saying, "He is a diligent and exemplary friend. I wondered why we hadn't met sooner."
Despite their natural compatibility, Lomon went the extra mile by preparing Kim Hye-yoon's favorite snacks and meals, and gifting her dolls and chocolates on special occasions. Kim Hye-yoon expressed her gratitude, saying, "He was so thoughtful and I was thankful, but there was no letter."
The two exchanged gifts that they wanted but were hesitant to buy for themselves. Kim Hye-yoon received an expensive electric toothbrush, while Lomon got a high-quality air fryer.
Living with his parents but cooking for himself, Lomon joked, "I tell my mom the expensive air fryer is a gift from Hye-yoon, so she won't nag me. I started earning my own money at 20 and became the head of the household, paying rent. If my parents complain, I tell them to move out if they're not happy. I'm a filial son," he quipped.
A former member of a b-boy club, Lomon revealed his past interest in becoming an idol. "I once asked online how to join SM, JYP, or YG," he said, adding, "The profile stating I'm from SM is false. I received business cards from all three agencies but turned them down to focus on my studies."
