Korean Actress Ko So-young Edits YouTube Video After Backlash Over Building Boast
Korean actress Ko So-young recently faced criticism after showcasing a building in Hannam-dong on her YouTube channel, leading to an edited version of the video.

On October 23, Ko So-young uploaded a video on her YouTube channel featuring her outing in Hannam-dong. While walking through the streets, she exclaimed, "Oh, our building is doing well." She added, "It's so beautiful. Isn't that building the prettiest here? The European-style design is so lovely. Hello, Hyoja."

The building, located near the Comme des Garçons street, was purchased by her husband, actor Jang Dong-gun, in 2011 for approximately 12.6 billion KRW (around $11 million USD). Its current market value is estimated to be around 30 billion KRW (approximately $26 million USD), reflecting a significant increase in value.

The couple, Ko So-young and Jang Dong-gun, are also known to own properties in Songjeong-dong, Seongdong-gu, and Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu.

Following the video's release, Ko So-young received backlash for flaunting a multi-million dollar property amid economic downturns. In response, the production team edited out the parts of the video where the building was mentioned.

Ko So-young and Jang Dong-gun married in 2010 and have a son and a daughter together.
