MBC's 'Oh Eun-young Report' Unveils Tensions in a Couple's Overprotective Relationship
A couple, expecting their child in just a week, appeared on the show, revealing hidden tensions beneath the husband's excessive care.

On the October 26th episode of MBC's 'Oh Eun-young Report - Marriage Hell,' the story of a 'full-term pregnant wife and her doting husband' was featured.

During the broadcast, the husband surprised the cast with his actions, treating his pregnant wife like a child by peeling tangerines and trimming her nose hair. He meticulously prepared breakfast and vitamins for two hours before work, but his wife expressed discomfort with his obsessive care and unwanted green vegetable side dishes.

The wife lied about eating the food her husband prepared, and when he found leftovers in the fridge, he scolded her like a child, leading to conflict. The husband claimed he had to cater to his wife's childlike personality, but Oh Eun-young diagnosed this behavior as 'kind control.' She pointed out that the husband's form of love had turned into verification and inspection, emphasizing that the wife is not a child.

The couple's issues deepened due to the husband's excessive external activities. As a corporate employee and event host creator, he pushed himself to the limit, often isolating himself in his room after work. This led to him forgetting prenatal appointments and neglecting to help pack the hospital bag, leaving his wife feeling alone. She tearfully recalled how her once affectionate husband became distant after starting a particular project.

The husband admitted to feeling anxious when resting, driving himself to live a 'hard mode' life. Oh Eun-young expressed concern over the couple's distressing routine, advising the husband to quit his project and address his wife's loneliness and depression. The wife conveyed her gratitude for her husband's care but expressed a desperate need for appropriate distance and genuine communication.
