On the recent episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling', actress Choi Ji-woo appeared as a special MC and opened up about receiving parenting advice from fellow actress Kim Tae-hee.
Choi Ji-woo, who gave birth to her first daughter at the age of 46, humorously referred to herself as the "icon of late motherhood." She shared her journey, saying, "I was about to give up on IVF when I successfully conceived."
Choi revealed that she often seeks parenting advice from Kim Tae-hee, who is two years ahead in her parenting journey. They share parenting tips and even exchange children's clothing. "We send our kids to the same ballet school. Since she's a senior mom by two years, I get a lot of help from her," Choi said.
The show's cast was curious about whom Choi's daughter resembles. Shin Dong-yup commented, "Of course, Kim Tae-hee's daughter must be beautiful." Choi humorously responded, "My daughter looks pretty to me, but it might take some time for her to be as beautiful as her mom. We'll have to wait and see. She'll get prettier as she grows."
Choi Ji-woo married a non-celebrity man nine years her junior in a private ceremony in March 2018, after dating for about a year. She gave birth to her daughter, Lee Ru-ah, in May 2020.
