On January 26, Lee Jung-ha will enter the Marine Corps training camp to begin his mandatory military service. He will undergo approximately five weeks of basic military training and is expected to be discharged on July 25, 2027.
His agency, Namoo Actors, announced last December that "Lee Jung-ha applied to the Marine Corps and recently received his acceptance notice," adding that "he will enter the Marine Corps training camp on January 26 to fulfill his national duty."
Lee Jung-ha gained significant popularity in 2023 for his role as Kim Bong-seok in the Disney+ original series 'Moving' Season 1. However, due to his military enlistment, he will not be able to participate in the upcoming 'Moving' Season 2. The production team is currently casting another actor for the role of Kim Bong-seok, with plans to start filming this summer.
Lee Jung-ha made his debut in 2017 with the web drama 'Heart Attack Warning.' He later appeared in MBC's 'Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung,' 'Run On,' and 'Nevertheless,' gaining recognition. In 2017, he also participated in KBS2's idol audition program 'The Unit.'
